IP Goes Pop! Intellectual Property/Pop Culture Trivia Contest

Test your knowledge of intellectual property issues like inventions, patents, trademarks and copyrights often referenced in iconic movies, television, music and other popular culture. What brands and inventions from the cartoon world of “The Simpsons” might be protected by intellectual property law? Name the superhero characters from the Marvel and DC universes with strikingly similar abilities. Which recording artists disputed intellectual property rights to their songs? Which every day gadgets may have been foreshadowed in sci-fi movies. Even our own beloved Phillie Phanatic’s costume was the subject of a copyright dispute.

Inspired by Volpe Koenig’s IP Goes Pop! podcast, this interactive and professionally hosted virtual trivia game will provide IP education and fun at the same time. Attendees will also have an opportunity to have their intellectual property questions answered by Volpe Koenig intellectual property attorneys after the game.
